Hello! I am Tristan Nygaard, a sophomore at the University of Rochester. I have a strong enthusiasm for IT and Database Administration.
Projects and Creations
Project 1: Art Upload UI
This was really the first project I had actually put substantial time into. I had wanted to test my self-taught understanding of "web development". Utilizing PHP and some basic HTML, I was able to create a working prototype of a simple drawing / upload program. Project 2: Contracted Wesbite Production!
This is probably the coolest thing I have done! I got PAID to make a website. I know most web developers probably have, but since this was my first paycheck as a programmer, it meant a lot to me. Through this whole production I learned a LOT about working with a customer and meeting their demands. Working with customers certainly isn't easy, especially when they do not know how to program. But, it is definitely super fun to work through a problem they present to you and with the constraints of deadlines, it definitely makes for a fun challenge. Depending on when you view the website it may be under a "password protection", unfortunately I can't do anything about that, as the client wants it locked down when he is not active on the internet, but I am more than happy to discuss anything about it.
